America’s oldest brewery has been around for over 188 years, and the quality lagers, porters and ales brewed by Yuengling are now available at all Meijer Indiana Stores.

In 1829, 23-year-old D.G. Yuengling emigrated from Württemberg, Germany and settled in Pottsville, PA, where he started the brewery that now bears his name. From the first amber lager right up to Yuengling IPA (with a detour through near beer, energy drinks, and ice cream during Prohibition), the family’s determination and innovation have made Yuengling a thriving business and historic treasure.

Dick Yuengling, Jr. and his four daughters now run the brewery that’s been family-owned and operated since D.G. shipped his first barrel. They honor and respect the traditions that have kept the company strong and independent for six generations and are committed to supporting local communities and preserving the natural ingredients that make their quality products.
